Question: Why is the international shipping cost for such a small item so expensive?? The reason I've not purchased is due to the utter rip off of postage on such a small part. £10 for shipment is completely ridiculous.

The cost for shipping is the exact cost calculated based on the location and shipping service chosen. We do not make a profit on our shipping costs. International shipping costs have gone up quite alot in the last few years.
The rate for this connector must be shipped in an USPS international first class 1oz package rate with delivery confirmation. If the product was was a little narrower or flat, it could be shipped in a large envelope/flat that would reduce the shipping costs. Thank you for understanding.
