Requirements:

Hardware: MINI-VCI Firmware V1.4 or MINI-VCI Firmware V2.04

Software: Techstream V13.00.022

1.0Download and Unzip  Software Filesmvci-x64.reg
Toyota TIS 13.00.022.rar
MVCI Driver 32bit.rar
MVCI Driver 64bit.rar
TISKEY.rar

UNZIP all above files with winrar version 5.xx or above.
Assume user keep above files in D:\TOYOTA
1.1Install USB driver
   (Windows 32bit):
Connect MVCI cable to your car's OBDII interface,
turn car key to ignition on,
Run "d:\toyota\MVCI Driver 32bit\MVCI Driver for TOYOTA.exe"
Click [Next]
Click [Next]
Click [Install]
Click [Finish]
Driver installed.
1.2Install USB driver
   (Windows 64bit):
Run file manager,
Go into C:\Program Files (x86)
Create a new folder "XHorse Electronics"
Go inside "XHorse Electronics" folder, create a new folder "MVCI Driver for TOYOTA TIS"
Copy all files inside "d:\toyota\MVCI Driver 64bit" to C:\Program Files (x86)\XHorse Electronics\MVCI Driver for TOYOTA TIS
Plug the MINI VCI cable to the USB port

Open control panel
Run device manager,
Update driver from folder C:\Program Files (x86)\XHorse Electronics\MVCI Driver for TOYOTA TIS.

You should now see two new devices:
  [Universal Serial Bus Controllers\USB Serial Converter]
and
  [Ports (COM & LPT)\USB Serial Port (COM)]
1.3Interface firmware version check:
(Firmware Update tool
DOES NOT work with Windows 10)

Run the FirmwareUpdateTool.exe from the "C:\Program Files (x86)\XHorse Electronics\MVCI Driver for TOYOTA TIS".
Click ¡§Device Info¡¨.
You should see the ¡§device connected¡¨:
If you see this, it means your MINI VCI is up and running under Windows x64
Interface can be used by programs such as "Techstream" now.
2.1Install Techstream Part 1:Run Toyota Techstream 13.00.022.exe
Welcome to the Installshield Wizard for Techstream Software
Click [Next]
Choose Setup Langue: Any language you prefer
Click [Next]
Click [I Accept the terms of the license agreement]
Click [Next]
User Name: penghualin
Company Name: penghualin
Click [Next]
Click [Install]
Click [Finish]
Now icon [Techstream] appears on desktop.
2.2Install Techstream Part 2:
Copy "d:\toyota\Toyota TIS 13.00.022\key\MainMenu.exe"
Right click icon [Techstream] on desktop.
Click [Property],
Click [Find Target],or Open File Location]
Paste to replace the original "C:\Program Files(x86)\Toyota Diagnostics\Techstream\bin\MainMenu.exe".

Copy "d:\toyota\Toyota TIS 13.00.022\key\Techstream.exe"
Right click icon [Techstream] on desktop.
Click [Property],
Click [Find Target],or Open File Location]
Paste to replace the original "C:\Program Files(x86)\Toyota Diagnostics\Techstream\bin\Techstream.exe".

Do not run techstream yet.
2.3Hardware Registry
  (XHorse MVCI )
From file manager,
drag the d:\toyota\TISKEY\IT3System.ini into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Toyota Diagnostics\Techstream\Env\"
When prompted, overwrite the preexisting file with the new one you are dragging over.
Mouse right click on d:\toyota\mvci-x64.reg
Select [merge]

Run Techstream shortcut from the desktop.
Click [Setup]
Click [VIM Select]
Select [XHorse - MVCI]
Click [OK]
If only [TIS Techstream VIM] is available to select,
Close the Techstream software, repeat above steps.
Click [OK]
Click [OK]

Software Registration/ActivationRun Techstream software on desktop
Click [Techstream Configuration]: Area Selection = Select your Area
Click [Next]
Default Language Selection = [English] or select your language
Click [Next]
Enter any of the dealer info and Click [Next]
Click [Connect to Vehicle]
Copy universal serial number for any AREA into [New key] column:

Click [OK]
3.0Diagnosis of your carGo to [Setup] on the main menu, then click [VIM Select].
For the Interface setup, select [Xhorse - MVCI] from the pull down menu. Click [OK]

Click [Connect to Vehicle] in Techstream.
Initialize USB Communication.....
If everything works, you will be prompted to confirm car year/model.
After which you'll get to the diagnostic interface.
Usually [Model Code] is detected automatically for cars made after 2003.

Vehicle Connection Wizard : select vehicle information
Click [Next]
Select engine module and the function you want to carry out.
